Instructor's bio:
Doreen McBride: Born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My husband’s job took us to Malaysia in 2000 where we fell in love with Asia. After arriving in China in 2005, I decided to give back to the international community by offering tours. We soon discovered that embracing a new culture is the best way to appreciate a new assignment in a foreign country. I love the excitement of sharing Asian culture with others and seeing the newness of discovery through their eyes!
In my spare time I study Mandarin, both oral and written. This tiny slice of language has opened a huge window into the life of everyday China and its people. What a beautiful country we are blessed to take part in!
