D&D 3.5 campaign looking for one more (Shanghai/Minhang)

Hello, we are looking for one more member to join our current campaign set in the Forgotten Realms world. Ideally we are looking for someone who knows the rules, as we are pretty well along in the campign. All of us are currently level 6/7 and we have had our group together for a few months now.

There are a few house rules, but nothing substantial. We currently allow just about anything from any Forgotten Realms campaign sourse, Complete Adventurer, Exalted Deeds, and a few other books. We have a full assortment of miniatures and a large battle map, so we follow battle rules pretty closely. We meet every Sunday at around 1pm and play until 8 or 9 usually. There will be a couple week break due to Thanksgiving and a few other business trips and what not. So you would have plenty of time to make your character.

The current party makeup is this....
level 7 sorcerer
level 7 monk/rogue
level 7 fighter with cleric cohort
level 6 druid

So ideally we would be looking for a fighter type character, but would be open to just about anything. You can contact me via oaklanbash@yahoo.com

Free Spiritual Reading (SHANGHAI)

Hi there,

I am training to be a professional medium and have decided to take my work out there to the people and putting my skills to the test. I would like to offer FREE spiritual (evidential) reading anyone who is intersted. Basically all you need to do is send an email to me from your own email account, and then in the heading write I WOULD LIKE AN EVIDENTIAL READING. and write nothing else. I will reply to you in time with a reading result.

My email is: spiritualreading.oracle@googlemail.com

Most of you must wonder what an evidntial reading is: A medium endeavours to make contact with your loved ones who are in the spirit world and hopefully will be able to provide proof of the survival after death. Proving that life does go on after we die and hopefully the reading will give insight to our daily lives and a purpose of communication from our loved ones. This reading is not meant to make life decisions for you nor make prophecies about your future, but solely to prove to you the miracle of life is eternal.

Please remember this is purely an experimental exercise, as the anonymity makes the process very difficult. Sometimes we need to raise the bars and challenge ourselves in life, and this is what exactly I am trying to do. If you feel you would like to be apart of this exercise or you know a friend who might be interested in receiving a contact from the relatives in the spirit world, please feel free to send me an email as instructed. If you find the result pleasing and accurate, please give me some encouraging feedbacks, if the result is not good, please also let me know where I went wrong. I am hoping to improve my skills so I may help more people.

Well, thank you for your time.

in Light and Love

Esteta

p.s. your email address will not be disclosed to a third party nor would you receive any marketing information from me as this servie is 100% free of charge.

Instructor's bio:
Doreen McBride: Born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My husband’s job took us to Malaysia in 2000 where we fell in love with Asia. After arriving in China in 2005, I decided to give back to the international community by offering tours. We soon discovered that embracing a new culture is the best way to appreciate a new assignment in a foreign country. I love the excitement of sharing Asian culture with others and seeing the newness of discovery through their eyes!
In my spare time I study Mandarin, both oral and written. This tiny slice of language has opened a huge window into the life of everyday China and its people. What a beautiful country we are blessed to take part in!

Tour Guide'sbio:
Doreen McBride: Born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My husband¡¯s job took us to Malaysia in 2000 where we fell in love with Asia. After arriving in China in 2005, I decided to give back to the international community by offering tours. We soon discovered that embracing a new culture is the best way to appreciate a new assignment in a foreign country. I love the excitement of sharing Asian culture with others and seeing the newness of discovery through their eyes!
Tour Guide's info:
Doreen McBride: Born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My husband¡¯s job took us to Malaysia in 2000 where we fell in love with Asia. After arriving in China in 2005, I decided to give back to the international community by offering tours. We soon discovered that embracing a new culture is the best way to appreciate a new assignment in a foreign country. I love the excitement of sharing Asian culture with others and seeing the newness of discovery through their eyes!
In my spare time I study Mandarin, both oral and written. This tiny slice of language has opened a huge window into the life of everyday China and its people. What a beautiful country we are blessed to take part in!
Hope to see you all in the markets of Shanghai!

Hallo, I just wanted to give a comment about this new tailor service in Shanghai, called Spaeth & Lui. I bought a suit there last week and was quite surprised of the nice shape cut. The quality is really good... I bought some tailor made clothing before around Maoming Lu. S&L charges half the price (around 800 to 2000RMB for a complete suit) compared to the luxury suit stores in Shanghai and outcome is same or even better than those expensive stores where I used to shop for tailor made clothes before. The service at S&L is friendly and has a personal touch, i liked it, so I promised the owner to tell about it here... So here it is! You can reach them at: www.spaethandlui.com Thorsten

The French Concession was once home to the bulk of Shanghai's adventurers, revolutionaries, gangsters and writers, though ironically not many of them were French (the majority of the residents were British, American, White Russian and Chinese).
Shanghai's nickname 'Paris of the East' stems largely from the tree-lined avenues and French-influenced architecture of the concession.

It is a most graceful part of Shanghai, and the most rewarding district for walks. We will go into gardens with attached French old villas, see how Chinese live in 'Longtangs' that are back alleys which form whole communities. They are Shanghai's most indigenous urban architectural feature.

Lunch on own costs at a small restaurant in the French Concession.
