manage its SHANGHAI subsidiary:

Requirements

* Age: 30-40
* Nationality: preferably Italian/EU
* Industry experience: metalworking, 3 to 5 years
* Academic background: mechanical engineering
* Expertise: production management, production processes
* Skills: total quality management, lean manufacturing
* Very strong motivation, problem-solving attitude, risk-taker, number-driven
* Language skills: excellent English, spoken Chinese. Italian is a plus
* Flexible attitude to adapt to new working environment quickly
* Available to commit for a period of at least 4 years

Duties

* Autonomously managing production lines, maximizing efficiency of plant's technical
and human resources (160 workers)
* Supervising maintenance and testing
* Raw material sourcing
* Production planning

Quality Manager Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager in Shanghai and the Quality Manager in America, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining recognized automotive quality systems, managing employees to ensure quality is maintained, and communicating with customers regarding quality issues.

1. Communicate with customers regarding quality issues
2. Coordinate TS 16949 and ISO 9001
3. Manage incoming materials inspection
4. Quantitatively measure progress regarding quality issues
5. Train employees regarding quality and supervise their efforts.
6. Manage supplier quality.
7. Occasional domestic and international travel.

Qualifications:
1. Education: university graduate with mechanical engineering major
2. Experience: More than 5 years experience at an automotive parts supplier, of which 2 years were in a quality engineer managerial role. Gage calibration experience required. Experience with plastics is required.
3. Solid experience in an MNC is advantageous.
4. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
5. Native Mandarin; Proficient English.
6. Hands on worker who is not afraid to get dirty.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and a good team player.
8. Good analytical and planning skills.
9. Able to lead problem solving activity.
10. Qualified to travel internationally.
