Experienced English speaking family have a Large bedroom available for homestay students. Furnished with double bed, desk, lamp, closet, and shared use of 1 full size bathroom. 3 meals a day are included. We live in a nice large 10 year old house, with laundry facilities and WIFI access. We typically cook Western food (pasta, spaghetti, pork chops, roast beef etc), chinese food, some Korean food and BBQs (burgers, hot dogs, etc.). Our past students love our food !! The bus stop is just outside our house, and its 6 mins by bus to the nearest Skytrain station. We are right on the New West/Burnaby border and close to some schools in Burnaby. Within a 5 to 10 min walk are KFC, Starbucks, McDonald's, Shopping Mall, etc. The New West Secondary School is across the street, as is Mercer Stadium and their football field and running track. Douglas college is 6 mins away by bus, or a 20 min walk. Weekly housekeeping is included. Please note we speak Mandarin, Fujien, and Cantonese too, but in the house, we strongly encourage everyone to speak English. Thank you.
