Principal Responsibilities
1. Make cold calls to foreign companies
operating in China using the SIP Database.
Identify companies with plans for development of
facilities in China. Complete the necessary
documents to pass to BDM.
2. Maintain and update database information
based on calls made, look to update with new
information and correct/replace invalid data.
3. Support the BDM in maintaining ongoing
relationships with prospective clients once a
qualified project has been identified. This may
include attending subsequent meetings and
presentations.
4. Utilize individual skills and abilities, such
as IT or languages, on various administrative
tasks, as and when needed.

It must be understood that this is an internship that is usually occupied by students. The monetary compensation is very low, 3500 rmb/month.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Service existing accounts thoroughly, technically, and administratively.
• Expand sales to existing accounts through new and existing products and services.
• Establish pricing procedures and quotes using product price lists or experience and knowledge of cost and market conditions with manager approval.
• Establish and maintain an excellent rapport and business relationship with major customers.
• Develop new methods and approaches for increasing sales and products carried by customers.
• Prioritize and concentrate efforts on most important accounts.
• Provide direct supervision and training to Sales Representatives. Implement team concept with assigned Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives to meet responsibilities of the job. Responsible for all aspect of assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have a demonstrated success in introducing new products in to emerging consumer electronic products, automotive semiconductor markets or biomedical and aerospace markets and collaborate with the executive management team in developing corporate business objectives.Ability to speak Mandarin is required.
Bachelor's degree preferably BSEE or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 15 years in a highly visible global sales management role selling to consumer electronic manufacturers, biomedical, aerospace and OEM automotive semiconductor customers. To be successful, this candidate requires an established global network of contacts primarily in Asia. Excellent technical customer interface, communication and presentation skills required. This position requires 80% Asian and international travel.

Responsibilities & Objectives:

Oversees all Sales Activity in APAC:
* Customer identification and qualifying
