The location is on the ninth floor within an apartment complex building. The location is conveniently within walking distance to both Line 2's Zhongshan Park station and Line 3&4's West Yan'an station. There's plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby and supermarkets if you just want to cook at home. And since you'll be continuing on my lease there is no commission fee which can be around 35% of a month's rent. Wow! What savings! Try and contain yourself.

BTW, the floor plan is not to scale but a rough estimation and to give you an idea of the layout of the place. I don't know why but this really bugged me when I was apartment hunting in Shanghai. Rent is 4800RMB per month as stated in the heading.

I have been in Shanghai for 5 years, lived in 5 different places (Ppls Sq, Huai Hai Lu, Zhongshan Park..), this is by far my favorite area. Its incredibly quiet, specific building located in the middle of a large complex (so no road noise), just outside is a large lake running through the community with paths on both sides (great for walking), very close access (3 minute walk) to the central square pedestrian shopping/dining street (Meichuan Lu 'bu xing jie'), and since the apartment is a bit further from the city center, a beautiful 100m2 two bedroom flat can be had for only 3500rmb/month (not charging extra for short-term let etc). House fully furnished, including a gorgeous Yamaha piano.

Convenient transportation to Zhongshan Park area, closest line 2 subway station is Beixingjing Lu, closest line 3 subway station is Jinshajiang Lu.
